The COOLwrap is back...

The COOLwrap is back by popular demand and just in time for use this summer! The COOLwrap was designed last year when I needed a cool wrap alterantive for my little one on a very hot new years day! Hence the COOLwrap was born. It's made form very thin muslin fabric and is designed to allow for a snuggle wrap of bubba's arms while leaving legs free and open to move and breathe.

Dispatch Day...

Packing, sorting and shipping was the aim of today! With my little helper in toe, we got it all done and am now only waiting on sending the last few orders at the end of the week before all our stockists will be stocked up! It's been a hectic few weeks of finalising shipments and freight, trying to coordinate orders and deliveries and finally it feels like its all getting sorted out.... Thanks to all our stockists frrom whom we have had very positive feedback so far! We hope the customers keep buying so that you can continue stocking the PAMLiners... I can't wait to get cracking on designing the next season stock soon!

First Shipment on its way...

It's exciting times here at LianaSimpson DESIGNS AUSTRALIA - the headquarters is filled with brown boxes, all packaged up and ready to be delivered and sent! The first of our 6 stockists will be receiving their orders this coming week, with the remainder due to be dispatched within the next 2-3 weeks.

Finally a Unisex Option that matches!!!!

Here's a little something for all of you boy mums who just love funky designs in blues... and a little pink splash for you girly mummies who like to match everything with the colour PINK (which has somehow overtaken your life- like mine). Now you can have BOTH!!!!!!
The research into the colour schemes used for the LianaSimpson range is unique and made to suit the needs of all parents. It will match just about any pram (red, blue, black, brown, green) and can be used for boys and girls using the same pram/buggy....
The aim of the game was to find bright colours that would match prams, accessories and outfits... (because lets face it- us mums like to have everything matching) Then you also have the option of two prints per liner, and the opportunity to finally put the boy and girl liners side by side in any doubles or twin prams... they look just great together! Ahoy.... its almost here!

Just a quick note to keep you posted on the shipment of Spring liners that are on their way to Australia. This week the final products have been quality inspected and packaged, and loaded ready for shipping! Now we all need to keep our fingers crossed for calm seas and speedy shipping - as well as quick processing in customs! It's getting very exciting now and I am getting very eager to get the first of the liners out to our amazing stockists who have been superbly patient in getting their hands on the very first collection of liners!

Showing off my new liner!

I went for a long walk to the park with my monkey girl this morning and what amazing weather for it! Since I dug out the phil&teds which has been in hiding since I've started using a stroller, I decided it was also the perfect time to start using my new liner... Marketing I am going to call it!

It really worked well... My little girl loved it an kept pointing at the hearts, not to mention the looks it got from other mums at the park (and a few comments too). I love it and felt so happy to finally have one for myself!

Reed Trade Fair Update...

So far the trade fair has been a mixed bag... a very slow start on day one, with a HUGE two days to follow. Thus far the response from buyers have been overwhelming, not to mention all the mums and grandma's who stopped by and asked where they could get their hands on one of the liners.
I have sold to outlets in all states, and also to a New Zealand store. Its exciting to think that people all over Australia will be able to purchase their favourite liner, including ones who like buying online through the many online stores who have placed an order for some liners! I also had the opportunity today to speak with a few larger companies who have several stores (very exciting possibilities). Only 2 Days to go... hopefully a few great orders... but more than anything I can't wait to get back to Sydney and give my little gremlin the biggest smooch and cuddle! That's all for now from cold Melbourne...

Setting up my exhibition space...

After an hour delay for the flight and 10kgs overweight (oops...) I made it to the exhibition centre with plenty of time to set up and explore. It was so amazing seeing the HUGE amount of effort people put into this. Some of the exhibition spaces are bigger than shops and are fitted out so beautifully. It kind of made me glad that my little space is just that... little!
I still can't believe I fitted a table, chair, pull up banner, pram and all my stock (plus clothes) in a suitcase! I did get a few funny looks as I unpacked my suitcase on the stand, moving tops and clothes out of the way and repacking it again... Very funny!
I took some pics of my stand all set-up... I think its not bad for a first time- but will see if I can attract some interest tomorrow when it all kicks off.

Thank you so much for the many phone calls and messages of support, it makes it somehow easier to do all this, knowing there are people back home who are encouraging and believing in what I am doing!
That's all for now- its time to go down and explore melbourne city in search of a coles or convenience store....
